Why are the Democrats and Liberals now comparing Gov. Palin to Caroline Kennedy?

I wasn't aware that they were competing with eachother for Obama's senate seat, so shouldn't you be comparing Caroline Kennedy to other people who do want that position? Makes sense to me…

Because the Obama team screamed and hollered and ran Palin thru the dirt because (they said),she does not have the experience to be Vice-President,but it is OK for the dems to put CK in the senate seat,and she has absolutely no hands on experience in government. Typical Democrat thinking….

i seriously haven't seen or heard ANYONE comparing palin to kennedy. i have heard a lot of comparisons between caroline and hillary though. care to be a little more specific so we know what you are talking about?

yeah and last time i checked, neither one of them were trying to get obama's seat. kennedy is trying to get clinton's NY seat, and palin is being a governor!

This is the first I've heard about it.

I know that Hillary is a bit miffed for not having more of a voice to select her replacement (which would not have been Caroline Kennedy), but I've yet to hear anyone compare her to Palin.

Are they? I haven't seen that. It's like after the election was over and some Republicans kept posting here in the boards asking

"Why do liberals keep bring Sarah Palin up? the election is over."

Except they were the only ones doing it.

Some have been comparing them, which I agree makes no sense.

But may Republicans have also been doing the same thing, often with the goal of promoting Sarah and continuing the "experience" theme.

They just can't leave her alone. It just amazes me how worked up they get over someone who isn't a threat to them anymore. the sad part of it is, I don't think it would have mattered who McCain picked they would have gotten the same treatment. Says a lot doesn't it.

I'm not sure you understand what's going on. Kennedy is wanting the seat vacated by Clinton not Obama. I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say Kennedy is being compared to Palin.

It may be the talk on youtube; but, I can absolutely assure you that millions of democrats, many independents, and a few republicans are big supporters of Caroline Kennedy's bid for the senate.

Because neither have enough experience for the position they seek.

Only person comparing them is you.

Caroline knows national and international politics, Palin only knows Alaska.

Just because one right wing nut job say's it's so, does not make it so.
