People are Flocking to Florida Every Summer

Some cities have been really successful at branding themselves as the ultimate family travel destination. Vegas is one of those cities, but Orlando has been vacation destination number one for practically the entire Eastern US for decades. the big draw is, of course, Universal Studios and Disney World. But I had no idea just how many people head to the Sunshine State every year.

The summer months are obviously the ideal time to go (fewer hurricanes, you know), and that’s when the kids are free from school, so it’s obvious why people go. It does get hot, though. Just look at the average temperatures from May through September. If you’re heading to Orlando this year, just remember to pack your water and sunscreen!
