I am currently taking a class called “Genocide in literature and film”.
I just finished reading “Night”, by Elie Wiesel, a survivor of the Nazi concentration camps.
He writes of his first vision of the camp, after having been herded onto a train along with his family (he was the only survivor; his mother and sister were summarily cremated upon arrival and his father eventually died after many months of torture) and transported in conditions no better than cattle receive:
“Not far from us, flames, huge flames, were rising from a ditch. something was being burned there. a truck drew close and unloaded its hold: small children. Babies! yes, I did see this, with my own eyes…children thrown (ALIVE) into the flames.(Is it any wonder that ever since then, sleep tends to elude me?)”
Yes, Mr. Bowles, I DO hold your “politics” against you. The thing about Nazism, it started so seemingly benignly, so rationally, with talk of patriotism/nationalism and “traditional family values” and curbing immigration and budgets. even the Jews didn’t take it seriously until too late……it was an insidiously slippery slope to the torture and murder of millions.
My GOD…do people NOT know or remember who and what the NAZI party campaigned on, was, and DID?!
Anyone who willingly takes the title Nazi upon themselves deserves NO respect or tolerance.
And anyone who tosses the term around (“Obama is a Nazi”, “Femi-nazi”, etc…) needs a good refresher course on exactly what “Nazi” really means. Go watch the videos and read the ledger-books (the Nazis were compulsive record-keepers/documentarians of their atrosities) or read the accounts of the survivors.
THEN use that term against someone whose political or personal views you differ with! If you dare.

P.S. I am NOT suggesting that Mr. Bowles doesn’t have the Constitutional RIGHT to be a Nazi….just that all sane people should reject his rhetoric out of hand by virtue of his identification with this INSANE ideology.
And that any of our Representatives who entertain his petitions and seek to insert his ideas into law should likewise be rejected/voted out of office.
The right in the U.S. of today is growing periously close to Nazism (corporate-government aliance, harping on tradition family values/gender roles and religion, anti-immigration/OTHER, national exceptionalism, agressive militarism…)
We must never forget what that means or that Hitler was ELECTED, not a “dictator”…he appealed to the PEOPLE and their fears and biases in a time of economic and social hardship.
And we must learn or recall that he was NOT a “socialist” (despite his co-opting of the title in the party name to appeal to the “moderates”)….he was far RIGHT and many socialists and communists (and gays and pacifists and gypsies and elderly and disabled and others) died in his holocaust along with the Jews.
So yeah, Mr. Bowles, I grant you the RIGHT to spew your filth, but I retain the RIGHT to rebut it at every chance and petition my fellow citizens and my Representatives to do the same.

Raven- by no means do i wish to promote the nazi party, what i feel your missing is that terrible crimes can be blamed on many groups. the right wing christians, remember the crusades? the salem witch trials? the prosecution of gays and minoritys and how churches in this here country of american were some of the most racist organizations in the country before the cival rights movements. and that happened after ww2. so christians here in american were advocating the same crimes that the nazis commited in ww2 right here in america against our black citizens, and our gay and lesbian citizens. and this still continues to this day.
the only difference was germany let the nazis into a majority power in their country, and we still have some true blooded, freedom loving patriots who are fighting to keep this country free from the christian shariah-type laws.
put the shoe and the other foot and it still looks like a combat boot.

605PETE….um, I am MISSING nothing. The NAZIS were mass murderers, full stop.
That OTHERS have committed genocide as well in NO way excuses their acts.
And they WERE, as I pointed out, “right-wing Christians”…not sure you got my gist. (????)
And are you SURE we still have a majority ready to vote and oppose the Right-wing, Christian right takeover of our government? The more “ballot access” laws they pass aimed at minorities and the poor and the more apathy they generate in the electorate with their “all the same! Vote them ALL out!” rhetoric, the extreme minority could very well take this nation while the majority slumbers or is disenfranchised.

Not sure why you assume I am “missing” the aspect of right-wing atrosities when I am opposing the NAZIS who WERE right wing! (?????)
The term “socialist” in their party name aside, the Nazi party campaigned on traditional family values and gender roles, religion, national exceptionalism and patriotism, opposition to immigration and “otherness”, anti-communism, corporate/government alliance, and militarism/invasion/colonialism.
All so VERY similar to the current far right in the U.S.

605pete,Let’s keep it fair and factual shall we? Don’t forget the millions of people killed by atheist Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc. More people were killed in the last century by atheists than Christians, Muslims or any other religion in recorded history! anyway, I agree with Raven, any congress person who meets with this guy deserves to lose their job.

Its hard to understand there idiology of hate etc. they preach the bible and they say there cause is to uproot there race. they catagorize everybody else except there own acitons etc. they finance there groups by commiting criminal activities as in Fraud etc, Drugs, Prisons working hand in hand with other criminal elements and even the cartels. those are all facts do your re-search on these groups and the bigger groups. There all tied up at the same time they have groups commiting all these acts

How can this man possible associate the Nazi Party with the Constitution? Adolf Hitler did not hold to supporting anything like our Constitution, or the Judeo-Christian faith, or even Islam or any other religion — Abrahamic or non-Abrahamic — or the concept of representative-republican government. Having a Nazi lobbyist roaming the halls of Congress is about as bazaar as a Communist lobbyist or a Fascist lobbyist wondering those same halls. I guess this guy will bill himself as the [New] Nazi Party, which may be better or worse than the “Old” Nazi Party. Remember, the “Old” Nazi Party was willing to be something they weren’t — until they could seize power. of course, nothing like that could ever happen here — could it ??!!

We have a “Government by Activists” — what do you expect a violent minority group to do?
Wow am I sick of this “Divide the Idiot voters to get reelected” way of running a government. When do we get back to a government that represents ALL Americans?
If you’re in a group favored by the President, ask yourself why you’re not better off than you were 3 years ago. or is seeing somebody else torn down make up for you not succeeding?

Everybody says there is this RACE problem. Everybody says this RACE problem will be solved when the third world pours into EVERY white country and ONLY into white countries.
The Netherlands and Belgium are just as crowded as Japan or Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve this RACE problem by bringing in millions of third worlders and quote assimilating unquote with them.
Everybody says the final solution to this RACE problem is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries to “assimilate,” i.e., intermarry, with all those non-whites.
What if I said there was this RACE problem and this RACE problem would be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-blacks were brought into EVERY black country and ONLY into black countries?
How long would it take anyone to realize I’m not talking about a RACE problem. I am talking about the final solution to the BLACK problem?
And how long would it take any sane black man to notice this and what kind of psycho black man wouldn’t object to this?
But if I tell that obvious truth about the ongoing program of genocide against my race, the white race, Liberals and respectable conservatives agree that I am a naziwhowantstokillsixmillionjews.
They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-white.
Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.
